Family House Parties at Rigaud are a closely guarded secret. This is no ordinary family friendly hotel. It’s all about relaxation for mum and dad with plenty of old fashioned fun and "the freedom to run" for the younger guests.

Rigaud childcare offers so much more than the usual hotel kids club

Mornings see the children enjoying childcare in the chateau and grounds. Babies and toddlers remain on the gallery play zone where our nannies bring out the play dough and finger paints. Older children race about the grounds following a paper chase, planting trees, riding the tractor and gathering firewood. Inside there’s an animation project for anyone who fancies a spot of film making!

Afternoons can see the kids racing about the gardens or up to the woods like some inseparable gang before they eat supper together in the chateau kitchen, followed by a film in the cinema. For the grown ups there are cocktails and canapés in the bar each night before a four course dinner with wine tasting and adult conversation.

Rooms cost from 350 euros per night for two adults and up to two children. This is inclusive of breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, kitchen suppers for kids and a four course dinner, all with endless excellent wines and morning childcare.
